Job Description

This full-time Occupational Therapist position offers an exciting opportunity to support students in a K-12 school setting located just 30 minutes from Rochester, NY. The role is a full-semester contract, providing comprehensive OT services while working with a diverse caseload spanning kindergarten through 12th grade.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and interventions to students across the K-12 spectrum
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance students functional skills, promoting their participation in classroom activities
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulatory and school requirements
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student development and educational goals

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapy license applicable to the state
• Experience working with school-age children, preferably across a broad K-12 range
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a school environment
• Knowledge of school-based therapy regulations and IDEA guidelines is advantageous
• Flexibility to manage a full-time schedule during the contract term

• Position based outside Rochester, NY, approximately a 30-minute commute from the city
