The Scrum Master will be responsible for the successful delivery of a body of work scoped out to be completed by one of the agile scrum teams on the program. This individual will help educate the team in Scrum, ensuring that the agreed Agile process is being followed. They will help remove impediments and foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement. This individual will be responsible for coordinating with other Scrum Masters/Agile Delivery Leads on program-wide topics and processes that impact multiple scrum teams. Lastly, this individual will be responsible for communicating with and reporting progress to program and client leadership, ensuring that client/customer goals for the application are addressed. Responsibilities include: Develop and execute end-to-end project management activities. Define project scope with key stakeholders and effectively manage milestones and dependencies. Monitor delivery performance and quality using metrics and status reporting. Mitigate risks as defined in project plan. Preference will be given to candidates local to the DC Metro area. The projected compensation range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000 (annualized USD). The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal pay equity, location, contract-specific affordability, and other organizational requirements. Required Skills: 8 years of relevant experience as a Scrum Master, preferably including experience/familiarity with Business Analysis. Experience leading Agile processes for large, complex systems that are supported by multiple development teams. Experience conducting daily scrum stand-up meetings, facilitating Sprint planning meetings, and coordinating Sprint reviews, retrospectives, and burn-down charts. Experience identifying and removing impediments from sprints and projects to ensure on-time completion. Experience developing user stories, including facilitation, prioritization, and negotiation with business sponsors, stakeholders, project sponsors, product owners, and development teams. Experience developing metrics and reports for tracking sprint, project, and overall program execution. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Scrum Master certification. Experience configuring and managing Agile Scrum and Kanban projects in JIRA. Experience with Content Management Systems, including Confluence and SharePoint. Familiarity with CI/CD and Automated Testing tools and techniques. Familiarity with Java- and Oracle-based solutions, AWS cloud environments. Experience supporting federal government customers.
