As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, conducting access control, and interacting with visitors and staff. Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSat04:00 AM - 11:00 AMSun03:00 AM - 12:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors while performing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the logistics and distribution location.
  • Screen individuals entering the facility to help to deter prohibited items or unauthorized access according to site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm, problem-solving approach.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related incidents.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and site personnel to address concerns and support emergency response activities as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of all screening activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
