Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Analyst/Accountant to join our finance team. This role will play a critical part in driving financial integrity, regulatory compliance, tax compliance and sustainability reporting. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in tax compliance, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting, and general accounting practices.

 

Key Responsibilities

Tax

  • Oversee corporate tax compliance including sales and use tax and state and federal income tax.
  • Liaise with external tax advisors and auditors to ensure accurate filings and optimal tax strategies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local and federal tax laws and implications.

ESG Reporting

  • Lead the preparation and analysis of ESG-related financial disclosures in alignment with global standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather and validate ESG data.
  • Support the integration of ESG metrics into financial planning and performance reporting.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and emerging ESG reporting requirements.

Accounting

  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support internal and external audits with required documentation and analysis.
  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
  • Assist with reconciling accounts and maintain general ledger integrity.
  • Assist in transfer pricing documentation and intercompany transactions.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial analysis, and ESG/tax reporting.
  • Knowledge of tax structures and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of ESG frameworks and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, etc) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

 

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with sustainability reporting platforms or ESG data tools.
  • Familiarity with financial modeling and scenario analysis.
