Data Science at Ironclad

The Data Science role for Product Analytics combines data-driven storytelling and deep data science techniques to help drive our Product roadmap. The Product Data Scientist will work directly across the Product team and Pricing team to drive the right programs, the right investments and ensure business growth.

You will drive analytical decisions for Product. This includes feature analysis, roadmap optimization and pricing investigations. You would also provide expertise on designing A/B tests and be a thought-partner to product and pricing.

This role is cross-functional, partnering with Product, Design, Engineering, Pricing, Analytics, and Finance.

What you'll do:

1. Learn the Ironclad ecosystem and historical pricing paradigms to become a subject matter expert on data, analysis, and modeling.
2. Create mathematical and data-driven solutions for challenging pricing problems at scale.
3. Partner with the Product Growth team and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Design to identify growth opportunities and measure initiative impacts.
4. Own and drive strategic analysis to influence product roadmap and develop a comprehensive view of product direction.
5. Design and develop core business metrics, create automated dashboards (and data pipelines), and data visualizations to monitor progress.
6. Lead A/B experiments, primary research, and surveys such as NPS, supporting experiment design, tracking, implementation, and analysis.
7. Provide mentorship and code reviews to enhance team efficiency.

Who you are:

1. 5+ years in data science and machine learning, with experience in time-series data, multivariate analysis, and causal inference.
2. 5+ years in statistical experimentation methods, including A/B testing, experimental design, and non-parametric statistics.
3. Deep experience in Product and Pricing analysis.
4. Proficiency in SQL, Python, data modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data science techniques.
5. Experience managing analytics projects from inception to delivery.
6. Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and clearly communicate timelines.

Salary Range:

Senior Data Scientist - Product Analytics: $150,000 - $170,000

Staff Data Scientist - Product Analytics: $180,000 - $200,000
