Job Title: Tax Sr., Supervisor or Manager
Location: Sioux Falls, SD
Salary: $90-125k + bonus and benefits

Position Overview We are a growing SD based public accounting firm we multiple offices throughout the states serving a diverse range of valued clients. We are now seeking a Tax leader for our Sioux Falls branch, the Tax Manager will oversee the tax compliance and planning functions for our clients, ensuring adherence to tax regulations while optimizing tax strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of tax law and regulations, as well as the ability to manage client relationships and lead a team effectively.
Key Responsibilities - Manage and oversee tax compliance and reporting for clients across various sectors.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
- Review and ensure accuracy of workpapers and tax returns prepared by the team.
- Provide guidance and support during tax audits and reviews.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to advise clients accordingly.
- Mentor and train junior staff in tax principles and compliance practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate tax strategies into overall business strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification or EA is required, CPA candidates currently pursuing could be considered.
- 5+ years of experience in tax compliance and planning, preferably in a public accounting environment.
- Proficiency in Ultratax and Thomson Reuters tax software.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
