St Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, a vibrant Catholic school community committed to academic excellence and spiritual growth, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 4th Grade Teacher for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will foster a faith-filled, engaging, and supportive classroom environment while delivering high-quality instruction aligned with Archdiocesan standards.
Plan and implement daily instruction in core subjects such as religion, math, reading, writing, science, and social studies.
Create a classroom environment that reflects Catholic values and promotes respect, responsibility, and a love of learning.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of all students.
Use assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate regularly with parents/guardians.
Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and support staff to enhance student learning and school culture.
Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and school/parish events.
Support and uphold the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church in word and action.
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (required)
Valid Missouri teaching certification or eligibility to obtain certification
Experience in elementary education preferred
Practicing Catholic preferred, but not required
Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills
Completion of Archdiocese of St. Louis Safe Environment Program (or willingness to complete)
