Job Description

Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a UI/UX Designer 3 . The work will be done hybrid onsite (23 days per week), with preference for candidates based in Westminster, CO , though Peoria, Dallas, or Chicago may also be considered. This is a long-term 12-month position with the possibility of extension and potential for permanent employment. Compensation is $56.12/hr + full benefits (vision, dental, health insurance, 401k, and holiday pay).

Job Summary

This role focuses on taking digital products from concept to market through strong UX design processes, collaboration, and user advocacy. The designer will create wireframes, prototypes, personas, journey maps, and research-driven design solutions while partnering closely with stakeholders, researchers, and fellow designers. The position supports a fast-moving, startup-mindset digital team and contributes to defining features, user needs, and high-quality design deliverables. Work includes mobile and enterprise application design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply UX design processes such as wireframes, prototypes, personas, journey maps, and user research.
  • Partner with stakeholders and internal teams to bring digital solutions from concept to launch.
  • Represent the voice of the customer and advocate for user-centered decision making.
  • Contribute to feature definition, requirements, and research planning.
  • Deliver high-quality UX assets that meet design standards and support project outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in UX or related field or 5+ years of User Experience design experience.
  • Equivalent option: 10+ years UX experience, or UX certification (HFI, General Assembly) + 5+ years experience.
  • Strong proficiency in UX design processes (wireframes, prototypes, personas, user research, journey mapping).
  • Ability to balance user needs with business and technical requirements.
  • Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing enterprise mobile applications.
  • Knowledge of equipment management or adjacent industries (Oil & Gas, FinTech, etc.).
  • Strong Figma expertise.
  • UX generalist background with interest in mobile design.
  • Experience designing enterprise-level applications.
