Job Description

EthicWise AI is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that advocates responsible, inclusive, and practical AI ethics to students and communities. We’re seeking a creative and organized Social Media Marketing Leader to grow EthicWise AI’s online presence, amplify youth voices, and recruit volunteers, partners, and program participants. What you’ll do

• Lead strategy and execution of our social media plan across platforms (Instagram, X/Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts).
• Create and maintain a monthly content calendar aligned with program launches, workshops, and campaigns.
• Write concise, audience-friendly captions and calls-to-action that drive event signups and volunteer applications.
• Design graphics, thumbnails, and short video clips (use Canva, CapCut, Premiere, or similar).
• Track engagement and performance metrics, and prepare simple weekly reports with actionable recommendations.
• Recruit and coordinate volunteers for marketing related activities.
• Work closely with program leads to translate artwork, events, and research highlights into shareable content.

What we’re looking for

• Strong writing and storytelling ability for social audiences.
• Experience or comfort with short-form video editing and basic graphic design.
• Familiarity with social analytics and experience interpreting performance metrics.
• Organized, deadline-driven, and able to manage a content calendar independently.
• Creative thinker who can translate complex topics (AI ethics) into clear, youth-friendly posts.
• Prior social media leadership experience a plus but not required.

Time commitment & benefits

• Time: Flexible remote work. Minimum 6 months commitment.
