Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and construction, demonstrating proficiency with various power tools and techniques. This role involves working on diverse projects, including residential and commercial builds, where attention to detail and craftsmanship are paramount.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard.
• Operate power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials.
• Perform concrete forming for foundations and other structural elements.
• Fabricate custom components as per project specifications.
• Install drywall and other interior finishes with precision.
• Collaborate with project managers to understand project requirements and timelines.
• Conduct construction estimating to ensure materials are procured efficiently.
• Assist in heavy lifting of materials as required on job sites.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in using power tools and equipment relevant to carpentry tasks.
• Knowledge of concrete forming techniques is preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as needed on job sites.
• Familiarity with construction estimating practices is an advantage.
• Strong skills in fabricating components according to specifications.
• Experience with CNC machinery is a plus but not mandatory.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
