About the Role
Deluxe Waterproofing & Caulking, Inc. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Waterproofing Estimator to join our remote team . In this essential role, you’ll prepare precise takeoffs, estimates, and proposals; manage RFIs; and maintain ongoing communication with clients, vendors, and our in-office team.
You’ll analyze drawings, specifications, and project data to deliver accurate, professional bids. This position requires strong technical estimating ability, clear communication, and the discipline to work independently while collaborating virtually with our team.
Responsibilities
Perform detailed on-screen takeoffs using STACK , Procore , and Deluxe’s custom internal estimating software (training provided).
Prepare, submit, and track RFIs (Requests for Information) to clarify scope and ensure accuracy.
Develop professional and competitive pricing estimates using Microsoft Excel and internal tools.
Review drawings, specifications, and addenda to ensure bid completeness and compliance.
Communicate effectively with General Contractors, Developers, Property Owners, Architects, Engineers, Vendors, and Suppliers .
Collaborate with in-office team members via Microsoft Teams , maintaining alignment on project schedules and priorities.
Maintain consistent follow-up with clients and record all interactions in the CRM , including bid status, notes, and Win/Loss outcomes.
Manage multiple bids concurrently while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 to 3 years of construction estimating experience, ideally in Division 7 Waterproofing & Caulking .
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required).
Familiarity with STACK , Procore , or similar takeoff software preferred.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team using Microsoft Teams .
Must be able to communicate clearly with office staff, clients, and suppliers during normal business hours (8:00 AM–5:00 PM Eastern Time) .
Highly detail-oriented, analytical, and self-motivated.
Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings.
