Would it be possible to do some sound engineer magic to boost the volume of EAs more softly spoken narrators? I listen using earphones with the volume turned up to maximum, and try to seek out quiet places to listen, but often end up having to give up on stories as every breeze, passing car, person talking nearby, or action such as turning on a tap drowns out the audio completely. The theme music is very loud, but once the story starts I'm often straining to hear. I notice this most often with pseudopod, particularly if the narrator is doing a whispery/creepy voice, and least often with escape pod. Other non fiction podcasts seem to consistently be much louder.
