Did I miss an announcement about PodCastle going on hiatus, too?  Not complaining - it's perfectly fine for Rachel to go on vacation to Hiati (sic) :) - just wondering if I'm the only one who doesn't know already, since no one else seems to be mentioning it...

Hi Wilson,

This week's ep will be going up ASAP. We had an unfortunate concurrence of events -- our audio editor was out of town for the holidays, which kept us from releasing on time over Christmas, and I'm in the process of moving - so I haven't had internet access for a bit. We'll be back on track ASAP, and I will release two episodes a week sometime in the next few months to make up for the three weeks worth of episodes we've missed (two over Christmas for the aforementioned reasons, and one near Thanksgiving because our previous audio editor left and we had to find a new one -- who I am very happy with).

Best,
Rachel

Thanks, Rachel!  I hope the move went (or is going) well!

Me, too!!  Not trying to be a pest, just eager and missing the podcast. Also worried that you may be affected by whatever is affecting Escape Pod at the moment...

i have a feeling it's move-related.  so many things can go awry while moving!

I'd like to hear my options, so I could weigh them, what do you say?
Five pounds?  Six pounds? Seven pounds?

Did I miss a memo?

Yes, you're supposed to put a cover sheet on your TPS reports.  I'll send you another copy of the memo.

We're also having some technical problems -- unfortunately, I can't access about 90% of our narration files at the moment.

My hope is to run two episodes a week starting next month to make up for our blips. Sorry, everyone.

I did notice that the episode posted today was "for the week of January 17, 2009" and guessed that you do the intros & outros after the story is complete, so it had to be a posting glitch rather than a "recording isn't finished" glitch that was holding things up recently.

We actually try to do the intros and outros in advance as well. Several of them are not accessible at the moment as well.

Hope everything gets sorted out and you all are okay, Rachel.

Personally, I'm happy with an episode a week when you're ready. I don't want you to burn out or anything trying to "catch up."
