Well,
Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep
just got knocked out of the SF Novel poll, wherein I discussed how the movie it inspired,

It's sad he never got to see the complete work, he died a few months before it came out (and was a commercial and critical failure (the latter due to the studio), at least in the short term).
