I'm going to have to go with Chuckles Mulroony's (aka. Preston Buttons, Air Out My Shorts) "But he fucked with the wrong guy!" Or while he was enumerating reasons to challange Satan's claim "... Three. Just to piss him off." the lines aren't all that funny but the delivery is hilarious to me.

Ahh Chuckles. You're litigating in hell now you silly clown *tear*

does anyone remember the name of the story about an office or talent agents that was narrated by Zap Brannigan or a close voice double? there was this girl at the end they were trying to dupe into acting or something like that? There's a line in there that made me pee a little.

For the time being, my favorite Escape Pod line is from Tim Pratt's Impossible Dreams: "He believed in movies the way some people believed in God."  Holy cow that's a great line.

That was "The Dream Factory," written by Jenn Reese and narrated by Scott Fletcher.

Was your favorite line near the end?

"Couples will conceive children--"
"The face of the Earth will be forever changed."

My favorite is from "Eight Episodes".  I don't recall it precisely, but it was Dr. Smith's son saying that humans are the meanest and most adaptable people in the universe.

That's so true.

The watching people are extremely adaptable, but I wouldn't call them mean.
