Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Application Developer to join the Electronic Data Interchange Gateway (EDIG) team. This team supports incoming and outgoing X12 transactions from trading partners and clearinghouses, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of healthcare claims.

This is a fully onsite position requiring a U.S. citizen with strong technical expertise in C programming, Shell scripting, and UNIX/RHEL/Windows environments .

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using C and Shell scripting
• Work on UNIX, RHEL, and Windows platforms (with SFTP)
• Support the EDIG process for healthcare claims
• Collaborate with team lead for assignments and direction
• Partner with host and operations teams on integration activities
• Participate in on-call rotation for production support

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • OR 4 years of related experience OR 2 years of experience plus Associate's degree
• 6+ years of application development, systems testing, or related IT experience
• Must meet U.S. residency requirement (lived in the U.S. at least 3 of the last 5 years)

Preferred Skills

• C programming & Shell scripting
• Experience with UNIX, AIX, RHEL, and Windows environments
• Knowledge of:
  • Data reformatting & transport (NDM, Mqueue)
  • SFTP , IIS , IBM Connect:Direct
  • X12 transactions
  • VB Script and Java
