Delivery Route Truck Driver - Class A / Class B CDL Toft Dairy in Sandusky, Ohio is seeking delivery truck drivers with a Class A or Class B CDL (and current medical card). You will deliver milk and ice cream products to our clients, working within 150 miles from the Sandusky facility (3717 Venice Road, Sandusky, OH). All routes leave between midnight and 4 AM to meet delivery schedules. Drivers enjoy a 40‑hour‑plus week, are home every night, and have weekends off. After a 60‑day initial period, medical insurance (Rx drug coverage) is available; supplemental benefits begin after 90 days. Workers receive salary of $26.50–$27.50 per hour. 401(k) is offered from day one with a company match after six months. Additional benefits: vacation time, sick pay, paid holiday time‑off. Qualifications Reliable, dependable, and punctual (punctuality is a must) Positive attitude and pleasant disposition Ability to maintain a high standard of customer service Pass DOT Physical Exam Pass initial and random drug testing Pass background check Excellent written and oral communication skills Maintain detailed and accurate records Follow written and oral directions Read and interpret policies and procedures (Food Safety, General Safety, DOT Safety, HR, etc.) Physical Requirements Climb in and out of truck Sit for periods while operating hand & foot controls Lift up to 50 lbs Push/pull a loaded pallet jack and/or 2‑wheeled hand‑truck Lifting, stacking, carrying required Work in cold temperatures Balance on slippery surfaces, especially in winter Equipment Straight trucks & tractor trailers with lift gate Pallet jack / 2‑wheeled hand‑truck Job Details Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Full‑time Job function: Management and Manufacturing Industry: Manufacturing This physically demanding role involves numerous stops for unloading and loading.
