We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Local Delivery Truck Driver/Warehouse Worker to join our growing team. In this dual-role position, you will be responsible for safely operating a 26-foot box truck with tailgate for local deliveries and assisting with warehouse operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a combination of driving and hands-on warehouse work.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 26-foot box truck with tailgate for local delivery routes
• Load and unload cargo efficiently and safely
• Maintain accurate activity logs and delivery documentation
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Report any issues, incidents, or vehicle concerns to dispatch immediately
• Perform various warehouse duties including inventory management and order preparation
• Receive and process inbound merchandise shipments
• Prepare and stage orders for outbound deliveries
• Operate warehouse equipment as needed
• Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in good condition

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Physical Card Required (DOT Medical Card)
• Previous experience operating commercial delivery trucks or similar vehicles
• Proven experience with forklift operation
• Ability to lift heavy objects and handle physical workload throughout the day
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Excellent time management and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or delivery services
• Familiarity with local area roads and traffic patterns
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs regularly
• Comfortable with prolonged periods of standing, walking, and driving
• Capable of performing repetitive bending, lifting, and carrying
