Purpose of Role :

The Equity Margin Analyst manages account-level risk and ensures the smooth operation of Marex's margin business. The role helps scale key processes, tools, documentation, and workflows, working closely with the broader Market Operations team and cross-functionally with clearing, sales, compliance, and product development teams.

The depth of knowledge amongst its teams and divisions provides its customers with clear advantage, and its technology-led service provides access to all major exchanges, order-flow management via screen, voice and DMA, plus award-winning data, insights and analytics.

Responsibilities :

• Review daily margin calls and monitor intraday activity.
• Research, prioritize, and resolve margin-related escalations.
• Communicate directly with Client Services via email or phone to provide live support and resolve issues.
• Monitor intraday alerts to mitigate firm and customer risk, proactively addressing account issues.
• Collaborate with clearing operations, IT, BPO, and product teams to drive operational efficiency and enhance Marex's margin offering.
• Maintain detailed records in compliance with standard operating procedures.
• Serve as a subject matter expert during critical system outages or issues.
• Ensuring compliance with the company's regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC and other applicable exchanges
• Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.
• Role model for demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values.

• To report any breaches of policy to Compliance and / or your supervisor as required
• To escalate risk events immediately
• To provide input to risk management processes, as required.

Skills and Experience

• Three to five (3-5) years of experience in Margin Operations.
• Strong understanding of equities and options strategies.
• Subject matter expert with Regulation T and Rule 4210.
• Exceptional attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
• Knowledge in Fixed Income products.
• Experience with Broadridge is a plu
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be willing to obtain SEI or Series 7 within first year of employment.

Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this.

Salary Range : $85,000 to $150,000 per year and eligible for discretionary bonus.
