Salary: $40,000 + $100,000 - incentive compensation plan

We're seeking a strategic, results-oriented Executive Director - Loan Officer Recruitment to lead the nationwide acquisition of high-performing Loan Officers . This pivotal role blends market intelligence, relationship mastery, and precision sourcing to identify professionals who elevate revenue, reinforce compliance, and reflect the integrity of Gershman Mortgage.

Essential Functions :
Build and Lead a High-Impact Loan Officer Recruiting Function : Establish and scale a best-in-class recruitment department focused on attracting top-performing Loan Officers across both emerging and established markets. Drive strategic growth through proactive talent acquisition and industry experience.
Strategic Partnership with Leadership : Collaborate closely with senior executives to define hiring goals, prioritize geographic target areas, and align recruitment efforts.
Design and Execute Sourcing Strategies : Leverage industry networks, internal ATS, industry producer reports, digital platforms, professional associations, and internal referral programs to identify and engage high-potential loan officer candidates. Tailor outreach strategies to the mortgage industry sales professionals.
Conduct Interviews : Lead comprehensive interviews to evaluate production history, licensing credentials, and long-term potential. Ensure alignment with company values and branch-level needs.
Deliver Top Talent : Curate and present qualified, vetted candidates with clear summaries of strengths, production metrics, and market relevance. Facilitate seamless handoffs to hiring teams.
Oversee Offer Process : Manage compensation discussions, offer negotiations, and onboarding logistics with precision. Ensure a smooth transition from candidate to loan officer.
Mentor and Manage Recruitment Coordinator : Supervise and develop a dedicated Loan Officer Recruitment Coordinator to support pipeline development, scheduling, candidate engagement, and reporting functions.
Support Branch Expansion : Partner with Branch Managers to identify staffing gaps, recommend loan officer candidates, and support team growth in alignment with local market strategies.
Track and Report Key Metrics : Monitor recruitment KPIs, including time-to-fill, candidate quality, offer acceptance rates, and market trends. Provide actionable insights through regular reporting to leadership.
Maintain a Scalable Talent Pipeline : Cultivate relationships with both active and passive candidates to ensure a steady flow of qualified loan officer prospects for current and future openings.
Foster a Collaborative Culture : Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where innovation, accountability, and shared success are celebrated. Champion a culture of excellence.
Travel Requirements : Regular travel is expected to meet with candidates, attend industry events, and support market-specific recruitment initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience Required :
Extensive Recruitment Expertise : Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales-focused talent acquisition, with a strong preference for backgrounds in financial services, mortgage lending, or similarly regulated, performance-driven industries.
Track Record of High-Impact Placements : Demonstrated success in sourcing, evaluating, and placing top-producing Loan Officers or equivalent revenue-generating professionals.
Advanced Communication & Influence Skills : Exceptional ability to engage candidates through persuasive communication, thoughtful negotiation, and trusted relationship-building. Skilled in navigating complex conversations with professionalism and clarity.
Technology-Driven Sourcing Proficiency : Advanced experience in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms, and modern sourcing tools. Adept at leveraging data and digital strategies to optimize recruitment outcomes.
Educational Foundation : Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Real Estate, or a closely related discipline.
