Job Description

CSL Behring is searching for a dynamic individual to take on the role of Executive Director of Immunology Sales, leading our largest franchise in Immunology & Neurology. In this pivotal position, you will steer the Immunology/Neurology sales team towards the achievement of ambitious sales, OPEX, and market development objectives in a manner that promotes profitability and compliance.

As a collaborative leader, you will work alongside Marketing, Corporate Accounts, Business Operations, and Medical Affairs to devise innovative strategies and tactics that drive our multi-billion dollar business. You will provide direct leadership to the Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and guide the development of our field sales team to enhance competencies, leading to increased productivity, sales growth, and employee engagement.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and nurturing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and advocacy groups to boost regional sales and bolster the company's reputation.
  • Establishing and reinforcing multi-level relationships within accounts to lay the groundwork for new business opportunities.
  • Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on sales strategies and issues, collaborating cross-functionally to ensure cohesive operations.
  • Creating comprehensive sales plans that target US sales goals for the Immunology/Neurology portfolio.
  • Managing the operating expense budget effectively, ensuring alignment with sales goals and company strategies.
  • Encouraging teamwork and collaboration between the sales team and Corporate Accounts, Marketing, and Medical Affairs.
  • Contributing to and executing on strategies that drive competitive advantage for the company.
  • Oversight of all sales team activities, managing objective setting, evaluations, coaching, and employee development.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A BA/BS in Business or Life Sciences.
  • Over 12 years of proven experience in sales, sales management, or marketing/account management, particularly in the healthcare environment.
  • Experience in immunology and/or neurology, with a deep understanding of healthcare systems, reimbursement, and funding mechanisms.
  • A track record of developing strategic business plans and implementing omnichannel strategies.
  • The ability to foster a transparent and collaborative culture and an unwavering commitment to ethical performance.

Travel Requirements: Up to 50%
