Job Description
The Production Supervisor – is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the line, ensuring production efficiency, product quality, and compliance with safety and food manufacturing standards. This role involves leading and coordinating the production team, monitoring performance metrics, optimizing processes, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
What You’ll Do:Team Leadership & Development
Lead, schedule, and support your team to meet production goals efficiently and safely.
Train team members in both soft and technical skills, creating a strong and capable workforce.
Foster a culture of accountability, empowerment, and continuous improvement.
Take full ownership of the production line, encouraging collaboration and high performance.
Operational Excellence
Monitor quality, yield, and efficiency, taking proactive steps to resolve issues and improve outcomes.
Manage inventory, plan production, and optimize costs through smart resource allocation.
Ensure equipment is operated safely and maintained regularly.
Organize production schedules to meet deadlines and maximize throughput.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure all team members follow food safety protocols including HACCP standards.
Promote and enforce safe work practices in all areas of the operation.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or production experience, preferably in a similar industry.
Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Experience in inventory management and production planning.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office proficiency required).
Some electrical or maintenance knowledge is a plus,but not required.
