The Software Engineer II oversees the company's software engineering functions, including developing, releasing, and maintaining software applications and operating systems based on business needs. Responsibilities include defining software strategies, managing day-to-day development activities, establishing policies and procedures for high-quality software production, ensuring software meets performance and availability goals, publishing metrics, and driving continuous improvement. The role also involves providing technical guidance, resolving conflicts related to technical approaches, designs, and coding practices, and applying industry trends to enhance productivity and quality in software development. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field. Knowledge and experience with: Web and desktop application development, debugging software applications, web technologies (HTML, CSS, Web API), programming languages (.NET, C#, Java, Python), SQL Server, project management practices (agile or lean), statistical data techniques (causal inference, syntactic analysis, sampling, NLP), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and security systems handling sensitive data.
