Released today: Zombie Strippers
"In the not too distant future, a secret government chemo-virus gets released into conservative Sartre, Nebraska and lands in an underground strip club. As the virus begins to spread, turning the strippers into ''Super Zombie Strippers'', the girls struggle with whether or not to conform to the new ''fad'' even if it means there is no turning back." (Hollywood.com)

How do you fight a bully that can un-make history?

Not the same thing.  That movie appears to be about "strippers vs. zombies" while in the movie Thaurismunths is posting about, it seems the strippers are the zombies.

So that means they are going to put on even more "Very Sexy" by Victoria to cover up the smell of decaying flesh, right?

I'm a fan of zombies and I'm indifferent to strippers, but the combination of the two looks like crap.

Those who would sacrifice liberty for safety deserve neither.

I'm a fan of strippers and I'm indifferent to zombies, but I think I'm just as un-interested as you are in the combination ;D

So are you a fan of "Very Sexy", or a fan of strippers?  Or possibly a fan of zombie stripper movies.

Actually, I'm unfamiliar with "Very Sexy" or any of Victoria's Secret other lines, and I really, really just don't understand the fascination with strippers and stripping (like why get one at a bachelor party?).
I am a fan of zombies, especially ones that are beyond 'horrible' (such as I Am Omega which is an ultra-low budget version of I Am Legend.), and I can't think of a worse movie idea than a porn star playing a strippers who has to battle zombies. How do you even talk someone in to that kind of a role?

How do you fight a bully that can un-make history?

Not even a movie about a teenager finding a pair of basketball shoes that gives him the power of Michael Jordan?  :-X

I just really hope they remain true to their source material and don't decide to just follow the whims of the internets. Snakes on a Plane was a movie that betrayed its core demographic of herpetologist pilots for cheap laughs. I hope Ms. Jameson has more integrity and loyalty to horny necromancers.

In college I attended a strip club.  The best word I can use to describe it is "awkward".  These women obviously want nothing to do with a bunch of nerdy engineering students, except take as much money from us as they can by whatever means necessary.  It's all really, really fake and strange and awkward.  However, I respect the women's right to strip, and am against the nude dancing ban in Grand Rapids (the nearest city to me).  If people want to give their money to strippers, great.  Just not my cup of tea.

I agree about the bachelor party thing too.  Why celebrate finding the woman you want to spend the rest of your life with by watching OTHER women dance naked?  Makes no sense.

Those who would sacrifice liberty for safety deserve neither.

Yeah, they only did that because "Showgirl Galleria", the new and largest strip club on that half of the state, was about to open and that was an affront to the Dutch Catholics in the area. I don't know what they were worried about, "Showgirl Galleria" sounds like something you'd catch from getting a 'car date'.

In West Michigan if you ain't Dutch, you ain't much.  Grand Rapids has a very high religious right population, and the mayor is an ordained minister of the Church of Christ.  He is also a huge advocate of tax rebates for companies that use  green energy and conserve water and energy usage, so I'm torn.

Untear yourself... considering the tax rebates and subsidies given to oil companies, rebates for those folks ought to be an easy choice.  I'd say do away with the rebates and subsidies for oil companies, but if they weren't getting those, where would they ever find the money for exploring for new oil fields?   (I know about their record profits, but apparently, they and their congressfolk don't.)

TAD — I think he meant torn in that he agrees with the rebates, but disagrees with the Mayor's religion playing a role in his mayoral actions.

Reminds me of the whole Sally Kern idiocy in Oklahoma (I freelance a bit, one of my jobs is monitoring a bunch of Oklahoma political websites). Everyone has the right to believe whatever they wish, but when you're a public figure and using a religion as the basis of your political ideology... The country works because it's a disparate group of immigrants that decided to set aside their differences for the common good. While your religion can influence you in your decision making, secular democratic government requires that the actions a government takes not be based on a religion but on the public good. As a public figure, you can think something is true because of your religion, but you need to have a good secular reason in order to do something. Politicians that divide the people into different camps with their speech at at best foolish, and at worse complicit agents of intolerance.

Back on point — Zombie strippers are a bit too necrophiliac for me.

Edit: Also, I've never liked Undeadsploitation flicks.

"Zombie Strippers" - Sounds like a Troma production. They must have used that idea already.

So, what kind of peeling is involved? Layers of clothing or layers of skin?
