Hi folks. So, I've started torrents for PodCastle reaching back to the first stuff published in March 2008. I've arbitrarily cut them up into six month chunks (January to June and July to December) so I can update them at regular intervals.

A few things to note. I've changed some filenames so there's consistency within a category. For example, the "regular" 'casts were sometimes named "PC010_Something" or "PC20_Something_Else" -- I changed all the numbers to the same length. The flash (or miniature) episodes were incorrectly numbered in some cases, so I've tried to straighten that out using the podcastle.org site as a guide. I've also ensured each file's creation date matches its publication date (again, according to podcastle.org) so if you want to listen to the episodes in order, sort them by creation date.

Yeah!

I've mostly followed EP. But I have also been thinking of trying out PC for some time now, starting from the start and catching up. Now that you have made it so simple, I will have to do exactly that.

Thanks so much, Kibitzer

Apologies for the delay in sets 4 and 5. I'm trying to get the mp3 tags right and it's taking a little time.

What tagging software are you using?  Just curious.

Cool, that's what I use, too.

How does one DL the torrent at Demonoid?  It seems one needs to be a member, and registration is closed... :(

Oops, sorry 'bout that. I altered the links above; I think these will work. Try 'em out and let me know. (I'm at work right now so I can't check them; Demonoid is blocked from here).

Darn. My torrent-fu is very lousy. I'm gonna have to research this and get back to you. My apologies.

(If anyone can help out please chime in. I thought uploading the torrents to Demonoid would make them publicly available, but in this I am wrong.)

Demonoid is a private tracker. You need to find a public one. Pirate Bay is popular, isoHunt is good, too.

So, I'm trying to get a new home for these torrents, a public home such as the aforementioned PB, isohunt, or mininova. When I do that I'll post here and change the URLs in the first post.

Changed the URL for Set 03. It wasn't working properly so I created a new feed instead.

Sets 4 and 5 are up (finally!)

Also, Demonoid is moving to a different address (from ".com" to ".me") so I've updated the addresses for the 3 existing torrents.

Set 6 is up.

Remember, if you don't have a Demonoid login I can send you an invite.

I was just wondering since Demonoid has been taken down, where are the torrents being tracked now?

My resolution for the new year will be to work my way through every single podcast starting at episode 1.

Project Catchup has already commenced.  Prepare babblestations for heavy necroposting.

Good luck and feel no guilt for threadomancy.

My goal has been to stay caught up with the current year and slowly work through the backlog. PseudoPod is done completely (minus a couple of the most recent episodes). I'm 75% current with 2012 EP and PC. I should be 90% before nominating best of 2012, and 100% before voting starts.
